The quick and dirty:
I help businesses learn how to do powerful, effective marketing for just pennies on the dollar. But don’t call me cheap. The methods I teach may not cost much to do, but I don’t work for free. ![]()
The long form:
I’ve never been a fan of self-aggrandizement, and I definitely don’t have the ego required to BS my way through a lengthy bio, so I’m going to stick to the essentials.
Here’s what makes me tick and why I love what I do:
- I’m an intolerant, opinionated, sarcastic marketer that’s just crazy enough to be brilliant (and brilliant enough to be crazy…). I have spent much of my life marching to the beat of the corporate machine, which has shown me what TO DO AND WHAT NOT to do in marketing, sales, training, and leadership.
At the same time, I not only avoid the disastrous, I live, breathe, and teach what works. It’s what keeps me sane (mostly). I live for the unconventional, the rare, the impossible, and then I make them work. - I love questions. I love solving problems. I love things/people that are different. I love opening someone’s eyes to their own ability, and then helping them develop it. I love training others how to be habitually successful. I love beating the odds.
- I am saddened by wasted talent. I reject sameness. I avoid the bland and boring. I pray for the drones, the sheep, the “Yes” men. I reject superiority complexes. In summary, I try to convert stoopid people (yes, I said stoopid).
- I do what I do because I know what it feels like to stare the “rules” in the face and know that I don’t have the money or patience to play the game someone else’s way. I know what the view looks like from the bottom AND the top of the pile, and I know the satisfaction of knowing that it was the way I did things that got me there.
- I have 20 years in marketing, sales and sales management. I see what works, what wastes money, how to interact and how to help everybody win.
- I have my MBA with a Marketing Certificate. I learned more about myself than about business, but I learned a lot about business.
